Once your dog has successfully completed the assessment and membership suitability has been confirmed, you’ll receive an exclusive invitation to subscribe and become part of our Country Club family.
Meet Tam (and Willow)
Founder, Animal Lover & Free Spirit
Tamara Coumbis, affectionately known as Tam, is the heart and vision behind Sandton Doggy Daycare Country Club.
An entrepreneur with a lifelong love for animals, Tam founded the business in 2015 with a simple belief: dogs deserve to be known, loved and genuinely cared for.
While Tam remains deeply passionate about the Country Club and everything it stands for, you’re more likely to find her quietly working behind the scenes than front and centre.
A lover of wide-open spaces, wildlife and the African bush, Tam divides her time between the Country Club and some of Southern Africa’s most beautiful wilderness areas. She’s also working towards obtaining her professional field guide qualification, taking her passion for nature one step further.
A little elusive by nature, Tam is happiest surrounded by animals, whether that’s the pampered little personalities at the Country Club or the wild inhabitants of Africa’s national parks.
Although she may not always be physically present, her philosophy is woven into every detail of the business. From the carefully selected team to the emphasis on individual attention, safety and genuine affection, Tam’s vision remains at the heart of it all.
For Tam, caring for animals isn’t simply a business. It’s a way of life.
